OUR VOLUNTEERS
The Madison Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the community of
Madison and the surrounding rural areas for over 80 years. Since 1930 men and women from the area have donated their time to assist those
that find themselves in need. The volunteer firefighters take the time to
learn and train in the skills needed to not only fight fires that threaten
structures and rural land, but also provide emergency medical care to the
community. This donation is truly selfless of the volunteer firefighters.
The Volunteer firefighters in Madison are on call 24 hrs a day, 7 days a
week. The volunteers get together on a regular basis to train and improve
their skills in all emergency response situations.
OUR MISSION
To server the people of Madison and surrounding rural
areas as professionals in fire suppression and prevention, and medical
assistance.
