Water 17 and Water 217
Water
Tenders 17 and 217 are how we get water to an incident where there is no
water available. They are a necessity in rural areas with no hydrants and on
wild land fires. Water 17 is a 1981 Ford with 2000 gallons of water and a 500
gallon per minute pump. Water 217 is a 1984 Ford, also with 2000 gallons of
water and a 500 gallon per minute pump.

217 is a 2008international 4x4 chassis. The buildup is by Fererra Fire Apparatus. It has a 1000 gallon per minute pump and a tank that holds 500 gallons. Engine 217 is our first out for all grass fires, and second out for all vehicle accidents and structure fires

has a pump capable of pumping 1250 gallons per minute, and it has a 1000
