Calls We Respond To

The Madison Fire Department responds to a wide variety of emergency incidents. A high percentage of these incidents are medical related, but there are a significant number of vehicle accidents along 505 and Hwy 16. Additionally, there are quite a few vegetation fires in the summer months in the surrounding fields and grassy hills.

Mutual Aid Agreements: Madison will automatically respond to and vehicle accident in Esparto's district or any structure fire in Esparto or the Capay Valley.

Madison, CA is a small town located just off the 505 freeway about 22 miles north of Vacaville and about 10 miles West of Woodland.

Major Events That We Host

Fill The Boot For The Burn Institute:
The Madison Fire Department host annually a boot drive that collects money for the burn institute. This institute helps burn victims and their families.

Fireworks Booth:
It may seem strange for a fire department do sell fireworks, but it is one of the largest fundraisers that the department puts on every year. To date, we have had no fires resulting from improper use of "safe and sane" fireworks.

Car Show:
A car show is put on by the Madison Fire Department every year at the Capay Valley Almond Festival. We had well over 100 cars of all makes, models and ages last year and hope to have more this year. More details or enter your car...
